The 2020 Honda Civic Type R Doesn't Mess With a Good Thing
Some cars make an immediate impression. You get in a Civic Type R, slot it into first gear and….deep exhale. Everything is right with the world. A moment of relief amidst chaos, as the shifter slots into its gate with just the right amount of resistance. The 2020 Honda Civic Type R Doesn't Mess With a Good Thing
Honda put a new knob on the Civic Type R's shifter for 2020. The knob is a small aluminum unit that looks like it came straight from a 1992 NSX-R. Honda engineers said the reshaped grille reduced coolant temperatures by 18 degrees on average in "high-demand" conditions. We'll schedule a track day for early August to verify.
